Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Castle, I experienced what I can only describe as a delightful culinary journey. The breakfast was a real highlight-freshly cooked and satisfying, especially after a morning spent exploring the stunning Chesil Beach, which is just a short distance away. For dinner, I opted for the in-house pub's menu. I was pleasantly surprised by their innovative takes on classic dishes-simple yet executed with care. The cozy ambiance immediately made me feel welcome, creating an informal setting that was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The attentive staff, led by Di, ensured that my dining experiences were both enjoyable and seamless. As an outdoor adventurer and photographer, I appreciated the opportunity to engage with fellow travelers and locals over a quality pint. The Castle offered a perfect blend of comfort and culinary delight, making it a solid base to explore the area's rich attractions.
